Iron Man 2 is a 2010 American film featuring Marvel Comics superhero Iron Man character, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Paramount Pictures. This is the sequel to 2008's Iron Man, the second film in the trilogy is planned and is part of Marvel Cinematic Universe. Directed by Jon Favreau, the film stars Robert Downey Jr., who reprises his role as Tony Stark.

Stark has revealed his identity as Iron Man and reject calls by the U.S. government to hand over technology. Ivan Vanko has duplicated the technology and build their own weapons, creating new challenges for Stark.

Iron Man 2 premiere in Los Angeles, California, on April 26, 2010 and in France on April 28, 2010. The film was released across the United States on May 7, 2010.
